Nice game! I always like these kind of shooter roguelikes. I noticed that the frame rate started to drop after I played for a while, it seemed to only happen when sound was playing so maybe it's related to that? Other than that I think working on the movement controller could make it feel a lot better. A lot of games start out at a slower move speed when you start moving and then lerp to a slightly faster movement speed after you've moved for a second or a few seconds and it ends up making it feel more real and less like instant force velocity.

Congratulations on making a game in 7 days!

Dude that was so were i meant to go with the movement system but just in efforts of getting everything done i wanted to keep the player just super simple, I'm planning on updating after the jam and better movement is 100% on the list, Thank you for the feedback I really appreciate it!

Very cool game, but there are some points that need to be finalized.

1. the game feels very slow, I suggest making the gameplay more dynamic

2. Enemies are hitting the wall and it doesn't look good

3. Remove the sometimes appearing very loud sound

Good luck in development!

yeah we were kind of cruched for time near the end so i couldnt fix how the enemies moved.

They just pick a direction and walk in it for a bit. It's not the best way to do it but it's better than them all standing still you know

If we continue making it after the jam is up it would be one of the first things i would change.

We really struggled with a bug when we were exporting the game to put on the web so we didnt have much time to tweak how the game feels but I do agree it feels a bit slow

I know Cornifer added the loud sounds which are supposed to be some atmospheric growls from are cthulu like monster as he felt they fit well with our theme but

I'm sorry if they were to loud.

I hope you still enjoyed are game

The sound is supposed to be way quieter, and like atmospheric idk why it ended up so loud, I will definitely fix / remove this after the jam
